JOB BRIEF
We are seeking a Flooring Associate to participate in our busy Flooring Department. The working environment is active and fast-paced and we are recruiting as a means to meet our increasing demand. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide personalized and knowledgeable service to in-store clients, which involves flooring sales, consultations, quotations, collection of payments, and other administrative tasks
- Prepare orders for warehouse personnel for the purpose of delivery of goods to customers on- and off-site
- Following up with clients to gauge their satisfaction with our products and services
- Open flooring showroom as requested by management
- Assist with maintaining inventory records and inventory upkeep
- Assist with answering the telephone and serving the needs of clients
- Assist with any other related duties that may be assigned from time to time
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possess a high school diploma and be able to demonstrate sound literacy and numerical skills
- Have at least seven (7) years of retail sales experience in a professional environment, preferably within the construction industry
- Be computer literate and demonstrate experience with Microsoft Office suite
- Demonstrate an interest in interior décor and design
- Possess great customer service and interpersonal skills
- Be honest, courteous, responsible and have the ability to perform on own initiative and without supervision
- Be willing to work overtime and on Saturdays, as necessary
- Possess a valid and clean Cayman Islands driver’s license
Salary range
KYD$2,000.00 – $3,000.00 per month; Commensurate with qualification and experience.
Benefits are in accordance with the Cayman Islands Health Insurance and Pension Laws.
